Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies and browser storage mechanisms EdgeAccess uses and why.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, or collect information about how the site is used.
We also use browser local storage — a similar mechanism that stores data locally in your browser without sending it to our servers on every request.
2. What We Use
EdgeAccess uses essential storage only. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking.
| Name / Key | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
access_token |
Essential | Stores your authentication JWT in browser memory (session storage) to keep you logged in to the dashboard | Session (cleared on tab close) |
refresh_token |
Essential | Stores a refresh token in local storage to restore your session without re-entering your password | 7 days |
ea_cookie_consent |
Essential | Records that you have acknowledged this cookie banner so it is not shown again | Persistent (until cleared) |
Because we only use essential storage, we do not need your consent to set these — they are strictly necessary for the service to function. The consent banner is shown for transparency.
3. What We Do Not Use
- Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Third-party session recording tools
4. How to Control Cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing authentication storage will log you out of the dashboard.

5. Changes to This Policy
If we introduce any new cookies or storage mechanisms in the future, we will update this page and, if required, seek your consent before setting them.
