Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan never expires and requires no payment information. Simply sign up and start using your 2 free connections straight away.
What is a connection?
A connection is a device (e.g. a Raspberry Pi, server, or VM) with an active reverse SSH tunnel registered to your workspace. Each plan includes a connection limit. Team plans also include a seat limit — the number of human team members who can log in.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of your billing cycle.
How does the SSH tunnel work?
Each device runs a lightweight autossh service that maintains a reverse SSH tunnel to our infrastructure. No inbound firewall rules are needed. You access the device through an encrypted tunnel, not directly over the internet.
Is EdgeAccess GDPR compliant?
Yes. EdgeAccess is operated by Atio GmbH, a company incorporated in Germany. All data is processed and stored within the EU. We act as a data processor under your instructions.
What is Enterprise?
Enterprise is for organisations with requirements beyond our standard plans — custom seat limits, private cloud deployments, SLA agreements, invoiced billing, or dedicated support. Contact us and we will scope a solution.
