Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using EdgeAccess. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Subject Matter

EdgeAccess is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides secure SSH bastion access management, including device registration, team access control, audit logging, and subscription management.

3. Contract Formation

A contract is formed when you complete registration on the EdgeAccess platform and accept these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old and acting on behalf of a legal entity or yourself as a professional to use this service.

4. Free Plan

New accounts are created on the Free plan, which provides 2 device connections at no cost and with no time limit. No credit card is required. You may upgrade to a paid plan at any time to increase your connection and seat limits.

5. Plans and Pricing

Current plans and prices are listed on the Pricing page. Prices are shown excluding VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of EdgeAccess is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You retain ownership of all data you store or transmit through the service. We do not access or use your data except as necessary to provide the service.

10. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

12. Intellectual Property

EdgeAccess and all related software, designs, and trademarks are owned by atio GmbH. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the service as described herein.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ulm, Germany.
